PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat slide device for adjusting the forward/rearward position of a vehicle seat, having smaller width size, and a less number of parts, provided with a memory mechanism free of strength reduction. SOLUTION: This memory mechanism 8 is provided with a memory rail 83 disposed apart from a seat slide body 20 of the seat slide device 2 in the width direction of a seat 10, and a memory slide 81 that is lockable or slidable to the memory rail 83.
