PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase control characteristics of temperature of blowout air in an air mix type air conditioner for a vehicle. SOLUTION: Pitch circle radii of both gears 30 and 31 are set so that the pitch circle radius R1 of a drive side gear 30 in the drive mechanism of an air-mix door 18 is reduced at the maximum heating position side portion less than that at the maximum cooling position side portion of the air mix door 18 and that the pitch circle radius r1 of a driven side gear 31 is larger at the maximum heating position side portion more than that at the maximum cooling position side portion of the air-mix door 18.
