The method involves installing and attaching the combustion engine on an engine test stand. A set of test commands are sent to the engine control. The control is arranged for implementation of components of the combustion engine allowing all tests in accordance with the test commands. The test results are stored internally. After accomplishing the management steps, the motor control is arranged to allow stored test results to be sent to it. An independent claim is included for a motor control for a combustion engine.
