The drive has a stator, and a number of cylindrical secondary sections that are placed in the stator as a sleeve bearing. The cylindrical sections move against the stator, so as to provide a magnetic field that is symmetrical in rotation, to the stator. The sections include a non-magnetic tube in which permanent magnets are disposed. The non-magnetic tube has a metallic sliding layer on its outer side.
