The device has a case, and a fixing unit (10) including two lateral connecting rods (26) for retrieving engine torque generated by a jet prop engine. The connecting rods are arranged on both sides of the case and includes a front end (26a) connected to a minimize box of the jet prop engine and a rear end (26b) connected to the case. A clamp is interposed between the front end and the minimize box. An independent claim is also included for an engine assembly for an aircraft including a jet prop engine equipped with a suspension device.
