<p>The transponder has an electronic circuit (8) with a digitally coded information transmission circuit, and retromodulation circuits (10, 20) with multiple capacitive or resistive units. Each unit is individually controlled by a modulation signal transmitted by the electronic circuit. The units are selected based on a binary message received from a read-write terminal. An independent claim is also included for a method of selecting a retromodulation unit of an electromagnetic transponder.</p> |
