The present invention relates to a windowed envelope 11 for an insert 22 and comprises a low tack adhesive portion 14 provided on an internal surface for adhesively bonding the insert to the internal surface. The insert is thus secured and ensures that the address is always visible in the window 12 as the adhesive portion prevents movement during posting. The adhesive portion may be elongate and positioned on the closure of the flap or adjacent to the window. The adhesive portion may be covered by a peelable film where the film is part of a transparent film for covering the window and may have a line of weakness to aid removal and may have instructions printed on the peelable film. In a further embodiment the adhesive portion may be in the form of an adhesive tape where both sides of the tape are adhesive. |
