<p>The present invention describes a method and apparatus of manufacturing an electrochemical sensor comprising a substrate, and at least two layers to be printed on the substrate, the method comprising transporting a web of the substrate past first and second print stations, a drying station, positioned between the print stations, and a cooling station, located between the drying station and the second print station; printing a first layer on the substrate as it is transported past the first print station, drying the layer on the substrate in the drying station and cooling the printed substrate in the cooling station before printing a second layer on the substrate as it is transported past a second print station.</p> |
