<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a low concentration aqueous liquid of a synthetic fiber-treating agent, containing an alkylphosphoric acid ester potassium salt being a solid at a normal temperature as an essential component, capable of preparing the low concentration aqueous liquid attached to the synthetic fiber in a spinning or processing factory of the synthetic fiber inexpensively and as having an excellent stability without forming floating materials or precipitated materials for a long period, and therefore capable of imparting a performance to the synthetic fiber as desired by attaching such the low concentration aqueous liquid of the synthetic fiber-treating agent, the low concentration aqueous liquid of the synthetic fiber-treating agent and a method for treating the synthetic fiber. <P>SOLUTION: In preparing the low concentration aqueous liquid of the synthetic fiber-treating agent containing an alkylphosphoric acid ester potassium salt being the solid at the normal temperature as the essential component, the alkylphosphoric acid ester potassium salt being the solid at the normal temperature is gradually added into an aqueous liquid containing potassium hydroxide of an amount of partially neutralizing the acidic alkylphosphoric acid ester while agitating, to produce 0.1-10 wt.% low concentration aqueous liquid of the synthetic fiber-treating agent containing the alkylphophoric acid ester potassium salt being the solid at the normal temperature as the essential component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI.
