The present invention describes an electro-mechanic device that accurately controls the cut for forming tortillas and fresh masa derivatives. The invention may be integrated to commercial machines currently available on the market so as to solve the formation, laminate and thickness problems of the tortilla. The mechanism of the device replaces the traditional cam of the current commercial machines and helps to obtain a compact tortilla without hard edges and irregularities, as well as tortillas having different shapes, high quality and puffing while cooking same.
