PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of displaying the information on facilities existing over a wide range in the destination direction of a user. SOLUTION: An information processing section 4 of the navigation system specifies a facility to be displayed. A predicted travel road of the user is then specified, and a reference intersection is selected from among the intersections on the predicted road. The information-processing section 4 calculates a road network starting from the selected reference intersection and acquires the information on facilities existing in the vicinity thereof.
