A stop for a vehicle window or other member (not shown) sliding horizontally or vertically in a channel 4 having inturned lips 7 comprises a rectangular rubber block 3 seated in a metallic block 2 which is inserted in a widened opening 8 of the channel mouth. During assembly the block 2 is tilted to pass through the opening 8 and is then slid so that the base of a slot 13 therein engages front shoulders 9 of the lips 7. The block 3 is then sprung into the position shown, being held between the block 2 and the rear shoulders 9.</p> |
