The collecting container (1) for paper holders (2) has a resting surface (17) on which the paper holders can stand upright. The paper holders can rest against a limiting element (6). The resting surface has a plane falling away steeply from limiting element. Holding elements (18) for the paper holders are fitted to the resting surface.
