The invention concerns an electromagnetic device for interfacial fusion and stirring of diphasic systems, in particular for accelerating metallurgical of pyrochemical processes. Said device comprises for example a crucible (2, 28), designed to contain a diphasic system, a field winding (4) enclosing said crucible and means (18) for powering the field winding with a double-component current, namely a high frequency component, which melts the system phases, and a low frequency component, which stirs the interface (12) of the phases.
