Indicating-apparatus comprises a moving coil 27 coupled by an arm 26 to a frame 22 pivotally connected to a gimbal frame 7 so that the frame 7 describes a motion about the two gimbal axes 10, 11 which causes a pointer 13 carried by the frame to move along a substantially straight line for angular movement of the coil 27. The pointer 13 is carried by a bar 12 in knife-edge pivots and has a counterweight 16 maintaining a pen 14 in light contact with a clock driven strip 15. The frame 22 may carry a pin working in a slot in arm 26 and guided rectilinearly by a slot 24 or the frame may be pivoted to the arm as disclosed in the Provisional Specification. |
