The use of perfluoropolyethers to optimize the effects of anti-radicals and cosmetic or dermatological compositions comprising one or more anti-radical agents and one or more perfluoroethers. Independent claims are included for (1) the use of perfluoropolyethers in combination with one or more anti-radical agents to formulate a cosmetic or dermatological composition for the protection and repair of atopic skins, especially those exposed to pollution and most especially tobacco; and (2) Their use to formulate an anti-pollution composition intended for smokers.
