The filter has a body with a lateral wall and two end walls delimiting a chamber (11). The chamber has a mandrel delimiting a helical channel (15) circulating fluid, at its periphery. Helical movement produced by the channel generates a centrifugal force on particles transported by the fluid, to project the particles on a sleeve. A leakage current is produced between turns of channel to move the particles beyond channel zone. The filter is connected to a hydraulic system by threaded orifices (12, 13). An independent claim is also included for a hydraulic system comprising a filter.
