The clip, designed to fasten a cornice member (R) to a U-section anchoring block (A) on the top of a wall, has a section (B) shaped to engage with the upper edge of the U-section block, and two projecting arms (D, E) with ends (F) turned in at rights angles to engage with the cornice member, leaving a V-shaped space (G) that can be filled with a sealing material. The inner end (C) of the clip is fixed in place when the U-section block is filled.
