The trunk has a lower shell (2) including a rear peripheral frame edge (9). The shell has a cylindrical sleeve permitting to receive and fix a metal arch (25) extending above the edge. A flexible covering unit (4) covers either entire surface of the shell or remaining part of the shell comprised between a removable cover (3) and the edge, according to arrangement of the trunk. The cover (3) partially covers front part of the shell.
