The article (10) has a transparent support (20) partly covered with two visually different patterns (30) formed from a finger nail polish composition. The two compositions are applied in a permanent manner on the support. The composition contains an organic/water solvent medium and a film-forming polymer. The patterns are formed by a film resulting from the evaporation of the solvent phase of the composition. An independent claim is also included for a method to realize a cosmetic sampling article.
