The invention relates to a method for producing rigid polyurethane foams by reacting polyisocyanates with compounds having at least two atoms of hydrogen which are reactive with respect to isocyanate groups in the presence of catalysts and foam-forming products. Said invention is characterised in that the compounds having at least two atoms of hydrogen which are reactive with respect to isocyanate groups contain at least graft polyhydric alcohol which is obtained by in situ polymerisation of ethylenically unsaturated monomers in polyether alcohols.
