<p>The procedure consists of laying a first course of blocks (1), inserting spacers (5) in slots (4) in the blocks' upper surfaces for aligning a second course of blocks laid on top of the first, and so on. On completion of the wall the gaps created between courses are filled with a sealing material, which can also be poured through vertical holes. The blocks, apart from those used on wall ends or corners, have vertical recesses (26, 27) in their ends that make holes when laid adjacent to other blocks.</p> |
