PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the reproduction compatibility of recording data is not secured, in which even when the data recording device and the data reproducing device have the functions for recording/reproducing the data in the same format, the capabilities thereof are restricted, depending on an information processor. SOLUTION: The data recording device is notified in advance of device identification information of the data reproducing device and the reproduction capability information thereof, via a storage medium or the like, and that the data recording device generates data on the basis of the notified device identification information and the reproduction capability information. Accordingly, the data are generated according to the reproduction capability of the data reproducing device recorded on the recording medium or the like.
