PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump for effectively inhibiting pump pulsation in a discharge port. SOLUTION: Pump action is performed by having volume changes of a volume chamber 6 between inner and outer teeth 4a, 5a of an inner rotor 4 and an outer rotor 5 in which the inner and outer teeth mesh each other and are rotated by a drive shaft 3. A discharge section region to which the volume chamber 6 of the discharge port 8 opens is bifurcated by a partition wall 17 into a first passage 10a on an upstream side of large pulsation and a second passage 10b on a downstream side of small pulsation. A relief valve is arranged at a bend portion 11 downstream of the first passage and a discharge passage 13 is arranged at and in communication with the bend portion 11 downstream of the second passage.
