PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article which enables a user to identify the back and front parts reliably. SOLUTION: A back side part 13 around hips is formed on a diaper body 1. An elastic body 23 for the part around the hips is provided on the back side part 13 around hips. A back-and-front-side identifying member 26 with a protruded identifying part enabling the user to identify the front part from the back part by the sense of touch is provided on a part without the elastic body 23 for the part around the hips on the back side part 13 around hips. If the user wears the diaper in a dark place or a visually impaired person wears it, he/she can identify the back and front sides of the diaper body 1 reliably. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
