PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimmer enabling a power cord and an extension cord not to come off each other even if the trimmer body is not mounted with any hook or not attached with any cord clip, preventing the cords from being cut off by a blade and preventing a blade case from being lost as well. SOLUTION: The trimmer has the following construction: The blade case 1 is provided with a hole 2 threadable with a plug 4 for the power cord 3 and a plug 5 for the extension cord 6 and the power cord 3 and the extension cord 6 are connected with each other through the hole 2, thus the blade case 1 can be fastened so as to locate for covering the cords 3 and 6 in the vicinity of the connected part without directly applying any force onto the cords 3 and 6.
