The measurement instrument has a force sensor (42) in a form of a closed ring, having a profile with two C-shaped in cross section. The introduction of a force on the instrument on the sensor takes place on the edge of the closed ring. The edge is arranged to the centre point of the ring. An independent claim is included for an electromechanical brake.
