A drive shaft is formed as a telescopically retractable shaft member. A pivot joint has a sliding guide which allows a sliding movement at right angles to the direction of travel (18). A suspension tube is attached to a carrier arm (8), and extends in the direction of the center of the machine. The suspension tube is displaceable in the sliding guide and is moved by the drive shaft.
