SPACER FOR MULTI-LAYERED GLASS AND MULTI-LAYERED GLASS

There are provided a spacer for multi-layered glass capable of improving durability of the multi-layered glass and containing granular desiccant and a multi-layered glass. The multi-layered glass (10) includes a pair of plate glasses (11, 12) arranged at a predetermined interval and each having a thickness of 3.0 mm; a spacer (13) inserted between the peripheral portions of the plate glasses (11, 12) so as to define the predetermined interval to be, for example, 14.5 mm; and a secondary seal material (16) filled outside the spacer (13) between the plate glasses (11, 12) for sealing the spacer (13) from outside. The spacer (13) is mounted via a primary seal material (15) between the pair of plate glasses (11, 12) of the multi-layered glass (10) and has a prolonged thin-wall vessel (13b) for containing the desiccant (13a). The vessel (13b) has a wall-overlapped portion (13d) in a direction parallel to a plane opposing to the pair of plate glasses (11, 12) at the portion facing the vacant layer (14).
