<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium of which the light transmission layer is hardly peeled. <P>SOLUTION: The disk like optical recording medium has at least a recording layer, an adhesive agent layer or an adhesive layer and the light transmission layer on a substrate in this order and a center hole, wherein recording and reproducing of information is performed by irradiation with a laser beam from the light transmission layer side. The optical recording medium further has a surface coating layer on the light transmission layer. The surface coating layer surrounds the light transmission layer at the outer peripheral part and/or the inner peripheral part thereof and the surface coating layer and the substrate closely adhere to each other in a region of at least a part in the vicinity of the inner peripheral part and/or the outer peripheral part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
