<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, simple and inexpensive printing device which enables a photographic image to be printed with a desired form by directly connecting the device to a digital camera. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera 1 is equipped with a color LCD4 and switched to an image reproduction mode by a RE key 8, then the photographed image is able to be watched by its frame-transfer. The digital camera 1 is directly connected to a printer 15 with a communication cable 14. A display screen is switched to a one-frame display or four-frame display or 9 frames display using an EASY key 18e of the printer 15, and those images are able to be transferred using a (-) key 18a and a (+) key 18b. The image under display is established using a SET key 18c and made transmitted by converting into a designated low resolution. The menu screen and cursor data are made transferred from the printer 15 using a MENU key 18f and made displayed on the color LCD 4.
