<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gyro less susceptible to unnecessary vibration from the exterior while actualizing miniaturization as for a tuning fork type piezoelectric vibration gyro equipped with a tuning fork made of a piezoelectric element such as piezoelectric monocrystal and a piezoelectric ceramics. <P>SOLUTION: This tuning fork type piezoelectric vibration gyro comprises a support substrate 38 attached to an arm base part of a tuning fork 10, and gives a drive side vibration to the tuning fork 10 while a detection side vibration is made by the tuning fork 10 rotatively vibrating integrally with the support substrate 38. The support substrate 38 has a slit 40 at its rotation center position, has a support member 76 provided in the slit 40 and fixed with an elastic adhesive to the support substrate 38, and is structured so to be mountable on an attachment member of the vibration gyro in such a manner that two arms of the tuning fork 10 face to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
