<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely transfer a roll in charging the roll by preventing deviation between rotation centers of a holding shaft and a roll support shaft from each other. <P>SOLUTION: In this roll charging device 4, an arm 21 of a robot moves the holding shaft 27 to be inserted to a winding core 7 of the roll 2 placed on a stocker 3. The roll is grasped from both sides by a gripper 28, and side surfaces of the roll are supported from the underside by lock claws 28B of the gripper 28. Length of the holding shaft is set to be shorter than the winding core 7. For charging the roll from the roll charging device to an auto-splicer 5, the arm 21 moves the tip of the roll support shaft 43 to be inserted to the winding core of the roll held by the holding shaft, and the roll is then pushed forward by a pressure member 29 to be transferred to the roll support shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
