PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluorescence-labeled ligand usable in a method for testing PPARγ(peroxisome proliferator activated receptorγ) binding ability. SOLUTION: This fluorescence-labeled ligand is a compound (or a salt thereof) represented by formula(I) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is OH, an alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, (substituted) aryl, (substituted) aryloxy, (substituted) arylthio, (substituted) arylalkyl, (substituted) arylalkyloxy, (substituted) arylaklylthio, (substituted) aryloxyalkyl, (substituted) aromatic heterocyclyloxy, (substituted) aromatic heterocyclylthio, (substituted) saturated heterocyclyl, amino, a dialkylamino, (substituted) alkylarylamino or (substituted) arylalkyloxycarbonylamino; R<SP>2</SP>is H, an alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, halogeno, nitro, dialkylamino, (substituted) aryl, (substituted) arylalkyl, OH or an alkylcarbonyl; R<SP>3</SP>is a (substituted) aryl or (substituted) biphenyl; R<SP>4</SP>is a fluorescent group; and A<SP>1</SP>, A<SP>2</SP>, A<SP>3</SP>and A<SP>4</SP>are each an alkylene].
