PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity container, which has a structure that enables a purchaser to see respective articles in the container easily and needs no dedicated equipment for display. SOLUTION: A rectangular case containing an optical disc, a first article, such as sweets, and a second article, such as a small doll or toy, are encased in the commodity container for display. The container is composed of a pasteboard 3, and a thin-walled transparent cover 5 mounted on the pasteboard 3. A housing space is formed between the transparent cover 5 and the pasteboard 3 by deforming the transparent cover 5. The housing space has a case housing 17, which houses the rectangular case arranged on the lower part of the pasteboard 3, and first and second article housings 19, 21, which house the first and second articles and are projected on both sides of the lower end of the case housing 17, respectively. Ground parts for grounding the pasteboard 3 by setting it up almost normal to the ground are formed on the bottoms of the projected first and second article housings 19, 21, respectively.
