There is provided a method comprising the step of with respect to a first solution containing a substance of high elution rate from separation flow channel and a second solution containing a substance of low elution rate from separation flow channel, introducing at least portion of the first solution in a separation flow channel later than at least portion of the second solution, and the step of detecting a chromatogram relating to the substance eluted from the separation flow channel.
