The water tight cable sealing system has the cable [5] passed through a threaded sleeve [11] and is secured by tightening a cap [2]. Between the sleeve and cap is a tapered elastomer sealing element [4]. A clamping force is applied by a ring [3] having flexible arms that are forced radially inwards when the cap is tightened.
