Polyethylene glycols, ethoxylated quaternary ammonium compounds and/or oligoesters are used in color preservation in colored keratin fibers

Use is claimed in color preservation in colored keratin fibers of polymers comprising polyethylene glycols; ethoxylated quaternary ammonium compounds; and/or oligoesters obtained by reacting dicarboxylic acids or esters with polyhydric alcohols optionally in presence of adducts of alkylene oxides on alcohols, alkylphenols or alkylamines, especially in presence of methylpolyethylene glycol. Use is claimed in color preservation in colored keratin fibers of polymers comprising: (a) polyethylene glycols of formula H(OCH2CH2)nOH (1); (b) ethoxylated quaternary ammonium compounds of formula (2); and/or (c) oligoesters obtained by reacting dicarboxylic acids or esters with polyhydric alcohols optionally in presence of adducts of alkylene oxides on alcohols, alkylphenols or alkylamines, especially in presence of methylpolyethylene glycol.
