SURFACE MOUNTING CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pushing-in force in the direction of the substrate thickness when a connecter is mounted on the substrate while maintaining fitting force of the connector and the substrate.

SOLUTION: The surface mounting connecter is provided with a bottom face part 103c of a connector housing 103 facing the substrate 102 when mounted thereon; a rail part 123 extended in parallel with the bottom face part 103c in a state that a gap corresponding to the thickness of the substrate 102 is formed between the connector and the bottom face part 103c; a guide part 119 making a guide groove 108 of the substrate 102 slide when the connector housing 103 is mounted on the substrate 102; and a protruding part 121 engaged with an engaging hole 110 of the substrate 102 in a state that the guide groove 108 is pinched between the bottom face part 103c and the rail part 123 while pinching the substrate 102 together with the guide part 119 when the guide groove 108 is slid.
