MAGNETOSTRICTIVE SOLENOID VALVE

A magnetostrictive solenoid valve with a simplified structure, where the number of parts can be reduced and which enables highly accurate and high speed regulation of a fluid flow rate. A magnetostrictive solenoid valve (10) has a substantially tubular casing (12), a magnetic coil (20) disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the casing (12), and a valve body (14) made from a magnetostrictive material, provided in an inner space (12A) of the casing (12) and displaced according to the variation of a magnetic field, applied by a magnetic coil (20), to regulate the flow rate of a fluid flowing in the inner space (12A).
