<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head and a method of manufacturing the same that can reduce the cost by reducing the number of working processes without exposing an electrode to a surface. <P>SOLUTION: A coat layer 40 is formed over the whole faces of a diaphragm 28 and a piezoelectric unit 38 and the coat layer 40 is thermally decomposed by a solder bump 42, and then an electrode 32 of the piezoelectric unit 38 and an electrode 48 of an electric connection film 46 are thermally bonded with each other, thereby reducing the number of working processes and the cost. As the electric connection is carried as in the above, the electrode 32 is not exposed to the surface. Consequently, even when the recording head is continuously driven in a high humidity condition, a trouble such as corrosion due to moisture absorption does not occur, thereby improving the life and reliability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
