<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new solar cell that is increased in photoelectric current by the texture structure of its surface, minimized in the current loss of electrodes by a tandem structure, and does not produce lowering of electromotive force by tandem cells. <P>SOLUTION: In the tandem type solar cell, at least an emitter layer 103, having conductivity which is different from that of a crystalline silicon substrate having one conductivity, is formed on the substrate as a bottom cell 101; and then a crystalline silicon-doped layer 108 having conductivity which is different from that of the bottom cell 101, a crystalline silicon active layer 106 having the same conductivity as that of the doped layer 108 and a higher resistance than the layer 108 has, and a surface emitter layer 107 having conductivity which is different from that of the active layer 106 are successively formed on the emitter layer 103 as a top cell 105. The surface of the emitter layer 103 of the bottom cell 101 is made substantially flat, and the texture structure is formed on the surface of the surface emitter layer 107. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
