PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly execute a desired function.

SOLUTION: When a user depresses a mail button 23 in a waiting state of a digital mobile phone 1 (in a state that a display section 11 and a main body 13 are overlapped and closed to each other) and thereafter, the user turns the display section 11 with respect to the main body 13 to bring the mobile phone 1 to an open state, a mail menu is not displayed but a new mail creating menu being a menu of a subordinate layer is displayed on an LCD 22. Thus, the user can immediately operate an operation key 41 to create mail. The electronic apparatus or the like is applicable to digital mobile phones and PDAs.
