PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain cost reduction of a product by reducing the capacity of a memory for storing coefficient data of a digital filter compared with a conventional technique, with respect to a data processing system for controlling volume or sound quality of sound of acoustic equipment by processing data of sound signals to be taken out from the acoustic equipment according to input conditions by DSP or the like. SOLUTION: The data processing system has a digital signal processor 1 for calculating coefficient data of the digital filter required for controlling the acoustic equipment corresponding to the input conditions, and a storage 3 for storing the calculated coefficient data; and controls the acoustic equipment using the coefficient data read from the storage section. In this system, the coefficient data are calculated by the digital signal processing section and are stored in the storage section such as a volatile memory, at the same time when the power is on, every time the input conditions are changed or if the coefficient data required for controlling the acoustic equipment are not present in the storage.
