PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accidental erasure of image data recorded on a recording medium without the need for a user to make a special operation in primary processing (photographing and recording or the like) in an image recording processing apparatus. SOLUTION: The image recording processing apparatus provided with a recording means for recording image data on a recording medium removable from an apparatus main body includes: a recording section for recording first information related to the apparatus main body; and a read means for reading second information from the recording medium on which the image data and second information related to a device for generating the image data are recorded and further reading the first information recorded on the recording section. The recording means inhibits recording of the image data generated by the apparatus main body to the recording medium on which the second information is recorded when the first information differs from the second information.
