PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disperser which can be used as a lubricant additive. SOLUTION: This disperser contains a hydrocarbyl-substituted succinimide, a hydrocarbyl-substituted amine and at least one member selected from the group consisiting of Mannich salt group-adduct derived from a hydrocarbyl-substituted phenol condensed with an aldehyde and an amine. The hydrocarbyl substituent comprises a polymerized product of a raffinate oil I generation flow and isobutylene. Its number average molecular weight is about 500 to 3,000 determined by the gel permeation chromatograph method. Not less than 70 mol% of the polymerized product has a terminal vinylidene group.
