PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for use in electrodeposition capable of effectively forming a closely bonded structure-controlled carbon cluster membrane using a simple apparatus, a carbon cluster membrane obtained from the composition and its manufacturing method, and an electronic element using the carbon cluster membrane. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (a) an organic solvent containing an alcohol of 1-80 mass% based on the total amount of the composition and (b) a carbon cluster and/or its derivative, wherein electrical conductivity of the composition is 0.01-100μS/cm.
