PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical equipment equipped with an index, with which visual confirmation is facilitated in a dark place and dropping of contrast between visual field and a target object can be prevented. SOLUTION: An astronomical telescope 1 is used to observe a heavenly body in a magnified enlarged state, and is equipped with a main telescope 2 and a sub telescope 3 (finder) provided on the side part of the main telescope 2. The sub telescope 3 is equipped with a cylindrical lens barrel 30, and an objective lens system 31 provided at the leading end side of the lens barrel 30, an eyepiece system 32 provided on the base end side of the lens barrel 30 and cross hairs provided between them and constituted of an organic EL element 4 in the lens barrel 30. In the telescope 1, the heavenly body being an observation object is surely guided into the visual field of the main telescope 2 by locating the heavenly body being the observation object on the intersection of the cross hairs provided inside the sub telescope 3.
