PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain electronic program information without being influenced by a transmission source by providing a function with which a user can previously search information about a desired program corresponding to a keyword inputted by the user in advance and the information is maintained. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an electronic program information receiving section for receiving the electronic program information to acquire reception electronic program information, and a keyword inputting/storing section for receiving a keyword and storing it. The apparatus has a means for extracting the reception electronic program information corresponding to the keyword from among the reception electronic program information thus received, and outputting the information as extraction electronic program information.
