PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of productivity of an electric connector and reduction of production cost by simplifying an operation of insertion-coupling a lid with a connector housing main body. SOLUTION: The connector housing assembly is for assembling an electric connector 100 provided with the connector housing main body 110 with a storage room 111 provided open toward outside, a contact 120 housed in the housing main body so as to be in contact with a counterpart contact, and the lid 130 covering the storage room in insertion-coupling with the housing main body and so structured that an electric wire W connected to the contact is led out from between the connector housing main body and the lid. The connector housing assembly combines the connector housing main body 110 and a lid assembly member A made by coupling an auxiliary member 140 with the lid 130 through a coupling part 150 which can be cut off.
